The unexpected happens. You’re away from home. You have no place to stay. I can’t count the number of times my family friend in this city that is 3000km away from my home has saved my ass. Every time I screw myself over. Every time other circumstances screw me over. They’re here, with smiles, to take my baggage off my hands and back and hand me a blanket and a pillow. I have no idea what I’ve done to deserve such kindness from them, but all I can say is thank you, for being my second family.
